Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Blackbuck Travels Limited (“BlackBuck Travels”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we aim to provide a transparent and fair booking experience for our customers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, changes, and refunds may apply for travel services booked through www.blackbucktravels.com.
By making a booking with BlackBuck Travels, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
- Full or partial payment has been received, and
- A confirmation email or booking reference has been issued by BlackBuck Travels.
BlackBuck Travels reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking for a full refund.
2. Cancellation by Customer
Customers may request cancellation of their booking by contacting our support team via email.
Cancellation charges may apply depending on how close the cancellation occurs relative to the scheduled service or tour date.
Cancellation Charges are based on Time Before Travel Date
Cancellation Fee
More than 30 days: Full refund minus processing fees
15–30 days: Cancellation charges of 10% of the booking amount
7–14 days: Cancellation charges of 20% of the booking amount
Less than 7 days: No refund
Any non-refundable administrative or payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund.
3. Non-Refundable Bookings
Certain bookings may be designated as non-refundable, including but not limited to:
- Promotional or discounted bookings
- Special event or seasonal bookings
- Bookings explicitly identified as non-refundable at the time of purchase
Where a booking is non-refundable, this will be clearly stated during the booking process.
4. Changes to Bookings
Requests to change a booking (including travel date, start time, or participant details) must be submitted in writing.
Changes may be permitted subject to:
- Availability
- Operational feasibility
Additional charges or price adjustments may apply.
BlackBuck Travels is not obliged to accommodate requested changes where doing so would not be reasonably practicable.
5. Cancellation by BlackBuck Travels
BlackBuck Travels reserves the right to cancel a booking due to circumstances including but not limited to:
- Operational or logistical issues
- Safety concerns
- Insufficient participation for a scheduled tour
- Events beyond our reasonable control
Where a booking is cancelled by BlackBuck Travels, customers may be offered:
- A full refund of the amount paid for the booking, or
- An alternative travel date or comparable service where available.
6. Force Majeure
BlackBuck Travels shall not be liable for failure to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions or travel restrictions
- Public health emergencies
- Political instability
- Strikes or industrial action
- Severe weather or transportation disruption
In such cases, BlackBuck Travels may offer alternative arrangements or refunds where reasonably possible.
7. No-Show Policy
If a traveller fails to appear for a scheduled service, tour, or departure within 30 minutes of the scheduled starting time, the booking will be considered a no-show.
In such cases:
- The booking will be treated as cancelled, and
- No refund will be provided.
8. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will typically be processed within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds will be issued using the original payment method, where reasonably possible.
- Payment providers or banks may require additional time for the refund to appear in the customer’s account.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
The maximum liability of BlackBuck Travels in respect of any booking, cancellation, refund, or claim arising from the services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the relevant booking.
BlackBuck Travels shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of enjoyment
- Loss of profit or business opportunity
- Additional costs incurred by travellers outside the booked service
Nothing in this clause limits or excludes liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
10. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they:
- Arrive at the designated meeting point on time
- Provide accurate booking information
- Follow all safety instructions and guidance provided by tour guides or staff
- Ensure they are physically capable of participating in the booked activity or tour
BlackBuck Travels reserves the right to refuse participation in a tour or activity if a customer’s behaviour is considered unsafe, disruptive, or likely to negatively affect other participants.
In such cases, no refund may be provided.
11. Indemnity
By booking with BlackBuck Travels, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless BlackBuck Travels Limited, its directors, employees, contractors, and representatives from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including legal costs) arising from:
- Your breach of these terms
- Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
- Your actions or omissions during participation in a tour or activity
- Damage caused by you to property, equipment, or other participants
